Verdacity’s Core Values, Commitments, and Certifications

When I founded Verdacity, I began with a simple list of values that captured the kind of company I wanted to build:

  • We produce high‑quality, well‑founded work

  • Our services are well‑integrated and reliable

  • Our interactions are cheerful and easy to implement

  • Who we are and what we do makes a positive difference

Those early notes became the core values that continue to guide us today. https://www.verdacity.us/core-values

Building a Values‑Driven Company

As our team grew, we looked for ways to translate our values into everyday practice. This led us to the International Living Future Institute’s JUST Program, a transparency framework that evaluates organizations on equity, worker well‑being, local investment, and community stewardship.  https://living-future.org/just/

Verdacity’s first JUST Policy included 22 commitments, which built the foundation for our culture and benefits today, including compensation equity, a family‑friendly environment, support for continuing education and volunteerism, investment in local businesses, and a commitment to transparency.

In 2017, we earned our first JUST Label, scoring highly in diversity, equity, safety, worker benefits, and stewardship. These commitments continue to guide us today.

Raising the Bar with B Corp Certification

In 2020, we strengthened this work by pursuing B Corporation Certification, a rigorous verification of social and environmental performance. We embedded these commitments into our legal structure, including the purpose clause in our Operating Agreement:

“The purpose of the Company shall include creating a material positive impact on society and the environment, taken as a whole.”

After years of data collection, documentation, and reflection across the categories of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers, we earned our Certified B Corporation status in January 2023.  https://www.bcorporation.net/en-us/find-a-b-corp/company/verdacity/

Moving Forward

These commitments are more than milestones—they shape how we work, how we grow, and how we serve our clients and community. They keep us focused on creating outcomes that support people, place, and planet. We’re proud of our progress and excited for what we’ll continue to build together.

If Verdacity’s values resonate with you and you want to be part of a company committed to people, place, and planet, we invite you to explore our open roles
